Abstrakt		Physician involvement in quality assurance for prehospital care is extremely important as it allows monitoring of the care provided and the performance of the personnel involved. This provides an important link between the physician and the other prehospital personnel. A QA system helps to provide ongoing education for personnel and can be used to maintain interest and morale. The ideal goal of the QA system should be to carefully review the care provided for every case, although more limited reviews may be necessary because of time or financial constraints within the system.
