Abstract		Carcinoma of the prostate is on the fourth place of men malignancies in Slovenia. Optimal therapy of localized carcinoma of the prostate is still not known. The therapeutic modalities of localised carcinoma of the prostate and the results of therapy at the Urologic Clinic in Ljubljana are described.
