Abstract     Atopic dermatitis is one of the most common skin diseases in childhood. it typically develops at the age of three months as eczematous lesions on the cheeks. At the age of one year the distribution of the manifestations may extend to thelimbs. In late childhood and adolescence the flexural distribution may persist. Most of patients have generally dry skin. The itchy eczematous lesions run a chronic course, often interrupted by periods of relative remission and relapse. In about 70% of those with milder disease the disorder will disappear by the age of ten.
