Abstrakt     The main task the diagnosis process in vertebrology is to reveal the degree of vertebral segment structural and functional changes in spine diseases and injures. The correct solution of the task defines the timely choice solution of the task defines the timely choice of the optimum medical tactics and so improves the result of the treatment of this patients category. In a number of cases while studying vertebral segment structural changes accurate quantitative criteria characterizing the degree of its compensation are necessary. Such quantitative estimation is made on the usial and radiopaque spondylograms, magnetic resonance imaging and CT scanning, with the usage of generally accepted roentgenometric methods. But in some disease and the spine injures the violation of the usual anatomic relationship in the vertebral segment is made, that is why the usage of of such methods is impossible. At the same time getting reliable roentgenomettric results substantially influences the choice of the method and means of the medical measures in this patient category, especially when having complicated spine injures. To improve the quantitative diagnosis of the vertebral segment structural changes we worked out the technical complex countaining the device of interactive processing of the imprints and computer that allows in the process of outlining the investigated object contour (vertebral segment) to receive coordinate information about its points. The proposed method not only favors the optimization of the diagnosis process but also gives the possibility to estimate objectively the efficiency of the medical measures and to prognose the disease tendency.
