Abstrakt		A comparision between the measured dielectric spectra of a compound exhibiting ferroelectric Sm C*, antiferroelectric Sm C*A and the intermediate ferrielectric Sm C* gamma phase with a calculated spectra emerging from a phenomenological Landau type theorey is presented.
