Abstrakt		European legislation claims for approved safety and efficacy of cosmetic products. The producers must assure their quality and have to declarate the content of all ingredients, including the cosmetically active ones. Among last the plant extracts are especially fashionable. However, their content on active ingredients should be precisely defined and their stability ensured, together with the appropriate appearance and galenical properties. For natural cosmetics the same requirements are valid but also the natural origin of incorporated ingredients has to be assured.
Izvleček		Evropska zakonodaja zahteva dokazano varnost in učinkovitost za kozmetične izdelke. Proizvajalci morajo zagotavljati njihovo kakovost in natančno deklarirati vsebnost vseh sestavin, tudi kozmetično učinkovitih. Med slednjimi so posebej modni rastlinski izvlečki, v katerih bo vsebnost aktivnih spojin morala biti natančno definirana in njihova stabilnost zagotovljena, ob sočasno ustreznem videzu in galenskih lastnostih. Za naravne kozmetične izdelke veljajo enake zahteve, zagotovljen pa mora biti rudi naravni izvor njihovih sestavin.
