Abstrakt		Articulation rate of one male speaker was studied for three different speaking rates. We show how the different speaking rates affect duration of individual phonemes and phoneme components. The results of the analyses will be applied for prosodic parameter generation in a Slovenian text-to-speech synthesis system.
