Abstract		The article presents the analysis of existing spatial and equipment facilities in 37 private physiotherapy dispensaries in Slovenia. The data was compiled by way of poli carried out in late 1997. Based on the conclusions and findings, the authors are suggesting now optimal proposals for spatial and minim al equipment standars. The aim of a new standards proposals is for broad professional public to incite the proper state organs (Ministry of Health, local communities, health insurance institutions) to prepare, together with Slovenia's Chamber of Physiotherapists, an appropriate regulation on the conditions for running a private physiotherapy activity.
