Abstract		A method for treating bone resorptions with the use of biocompatible bone substitutes and membranes is presented. During the periodontal operation, the bone pocket is filled with granulate and covered with a membrane. The healing process lasts three months. During that time the bone substitute is incorporated into the bone tissue. The aim of this technique is to achieve guided tissue regeneration. This is the final goal pursued in restoring the resorbed periodontal tissues.
