Abstract     In the examination rooms of The Clinical Department for Traumatology 130-260 patients (on average 178) is treated each day. The outpatient service is organized in four fundamental parts: the so-called corridors A (major trauma) and B (minor trauma), specialist outpatient clinic and Small OP room for surgical procedures which can be done under local anesthesia. Essential part is also the radiological department (X-rays, sonography and CTi. There are also OP-theatres for major surgical procedures and consiliary specialists, but this kind of organisation is beyond (exceeds) this article. In this article the basic organisation of the outpatient service is outlined and some cases in which the mistake of anybody of the staff (doctor, nurse or technician) lecl to wrong diagnosis or/and wrong treatment.
