Abstract		For the management of sudden death it is the necessity participation of lay people in chain of survival . With Basic life support courses for lay people we tried to straighten the second link. We succeeded to adjust courses to our mentality and get good co-operation of the course participants, with good knowledge retention and big interest in the public for next courses. In the article the course is explained with our thinking, which guided us in course shaping. We added some ideas of future development of educaction of lay people in Basic life support.
