Abstrakt		Fast development of computer science and communication has improved the chances for physically handicapped children. Regardless the handicap, most of the children can use a computer by the help of a suitable equipment. In this way the quality of life is improving especiall with the individuals, handicapped to such a degree, that they are able to perform none or only a few activities independently. A computer makes possible or easier: - to become literate - individual work and testing (especiall for the children, who have writing and articulating problems) - training intellectual functions. This is of great importance for the children suffering from neuromuscular diseases whose intellectual functions are well preserved whilw the progression of the disease results in the decrease of muscle strenght and movement range. - communication easier and of higher quality (the use of Internet). We must be aware of the fact that some of these children will never be able to do a profitable job successfully. A computer is important in the process of education and habilitation of the handicapped which leads to a life of higher quality. Our young poet here will confirm what we are just said. In spite of his handicap he has found his field of interests activity and a computer makes his activities possible.
