Abstract		This article lists some suggestions for the improvement of the quality of work of the medical doctors when prescribing medications for the elderly people (providing of the expert literature and constant expert information about the medications and their mutual action), a constant possibility of cunsultations with adequately qualified experts, and assured expert further education of the medical doctors and pharmacists in the area of the use of medications. It also suggests certain simle measures to help the elderly patients in administering of the medications.
