Abstrakt		There are more and more old people in the world. The oldness itself brings general physical weakness and illness. The question is: what has to be done when the family can't support an old relative any more? The author in the article introduces the Home for old members of community Ilirska Bistrica, their interests and wishes, and possibilities to improve the quality of their life. She analyses their activities which provide more meaning of their age and life in their Home.
