| Abstract | It is not very often to meet us with a patient in shock in the emergency department. It is very important for the patient in this state to obtain the first aid very soon. The main sign of shock is low blood pressure but other signs are not always very typical regarding the reason. The first interventions are the right position of the patient, hemodinamic monitoring, insertion of intravenous cannula, administration of fluids, oxygen therapy. Nursing care is closely connected with diagnostic terapevtic process, which is of great importance at very first moments. | |
