Abstract     In surgery emergency, nurses and health technicians often face the patients, threatened by haemorrhagic shock. It is caused by sudden external or internal bleeding as a consequence of trauma, cardiovascular or abdominal disease, etc. When admitting lifethreatened patients it is very important to learn from the rescuers as much as possible: time, mechanism and localization of trauma, blood pressure and heart rate on the site of the accident and later, quantity of blood loss and the extent of the first aid. These data help us in planning further actions. Status of some patients could be rapidly worsening, so they must be under constant supervision of a nurse. Nurses must recognize the signs of haemorrhagic shock early and be able to react appropriately.
