Abstract		The topic of the article is quality as percepted by beginner on the long road of the continuous quality improvement. The Quality improvement loop is represented. We can confirm, that the implementation of some criteria and standards on the basis of the Project on EMS in Slovenia represents first step on the way for better quality in EMS. It also represents an important tool for the future changes in the slovene EM system.
