| Abstrakt | Pathophysiology of chronic pain has been described in the article. In order to understand the origin of chronic pain we have to know the mechanisms of transmission of painful excitation well. The basic groups with the clinical pictures founded on ethiological mechanisms and primary treatment principles have been cited. The treatment of pain that has been for a long time secondary empirical part of the medicine is nowadays recognized medical orientation. One is directed to organization of the experts who are engaged in investigation and treatment of pain in order to enable quicker exchange of information on the chronic pain and application of verified treatment procedure. | |
