Abstract		The article briefly presents the possibilities of measurement of the range of spine movement and its different shapes. There is a wide range of techniques and methods used, varying according to their reliability, validity, usability, invasiveness and cost-effectiveness. The reader is free to choose and judge the appropriateness of a particular method or technique. However, it should be emphasised that there is a number of questions which force us to continue exploring and introducing new approaches in dealing with the above issue.
