Abstract		The intratester reliability of optoelectronic measurement technique for passive Lachman test of anterior knee instability was determined. Anterior movement measurements of the tibia were compared to established diagnostic criteria, defining injury of the anterior cruciate ligament. Therefore 17 uninjured female subjects, aged between 22 and 29 were tested. Period between test and retest was 7 days. The average anterior movement of the tibia for left and right knee joints was 3.1 mm and 3.7 mm for test and in retest, respectively. Paired sample t-test showed no signifcant difference between test and retest for the left and right knee joints. The results of the measurements according to diagnostic criteria were positive in both cases. The results of the study showed high intratester reliability of optoelectronic method of passive Lachman test observing the group of uninjured subjects.
