Abstrakt		The computer system ANXRAY (Analysis of X-ray Radiographs of the Human Femor and Pelvis) was constructed for the purpose of quantitatuve determination of geometrical parameters of the human femor and pelvis. The system consists of set of objects that comprise the hip joint geometry. It takes as input geometrical data from standard antero-posterior radiographs. It was applied to quantitatively determine the geometrical parameters for 37 male and 44 female patients following an implantation of hip endoprosthesis. It is shown that cvariation of the magnification can seriously influence the distribution of the geometrical parameters and that manifestation should always be taken into consideration for each patient.
