Abstrakt		Amyloidosis is an uncommon diseases. It mainly occurs as localised disease or very rarely as a manifestation of systemic disease. Hoarseness is the prevalent symptom. Local surgical excision is the treatment of choice for localised laryngeal amyloidosis. In the present paper, the authors describe seven cases treated in the last twenty years.
