Abstract | The junction between nerve and muscular cell is a special sort of synapse. The transmission of an impulse from one cell to another is chemical. The irritated dendrite releases acetylcholine, which goes through the fissure between two cells and binds itself to the receptors at a cell membrane. At this binding, the canals open, which are permeable to sodium and potassium ions. Thus electrical impulse is transmitted from on cell to another with the help of chemical compound. This kind of transmission causes time delay at transmission of impulses. Besides acetylcholine, also oth er substances can be bound to receptors. Some of them inhibit the transmittion, others excite it. Due to its simplicity, the motor lamella is the best examined synapse. | |
Summary | Stik med živčno in mišično celico je posebna vrsta sinapse. Prenos dražljaja iz ene celice na drugo je kemičen. Iz vzdraženega živčnega končiča se sprosti acetilholin, potuje skozi špranjo med celicama in se veže na receptorje na površini mišične celice. Ob tej vezavi se odpro kanali, ki prepuščajo natrijeve in kalijeve ione. Tako se električni impulz prenese iz ene celice na drugo s pomočjo kemične spojine. Tak način prenosa povzroča časovno zakasnitev pri prevajanju dražljajev. Poleg acetilholina se na receptorje lahko vežejo tudi druge snovi. Nekatere prenos zavrejo, druge ga pospešijo. Zaradi svoje preprostosti je motorična ploščica najbolje raziskana sinapsa. | |
