Abstrakt | The article presents basic principles of compartment model independent analysis with an emphasis on physiological modeling. Physiological pharmacokinetic model presents more realistic description of an organism than compartment model. Physiological pharmacokinetic models enable prediction of drug and metabolite levels in various tissues and organs. Physiological pharmacokinetic models are more complicated than classic compartment models and they require lots of studies in vivo, therefore they were developed just for a few drugs. | |
Izvleček | V članku so predstavljene osnove neprostorskega modeliranja s poudarkom na fiziološkem modeliranju. S postavitvijo fiziološkega farmakokinetičnega modela se bolj približamo dogajanju v organizmu kot s prostorskim modeliranjem. Fiziološki farmakokinetični modeli omogočajo napovedovanje nivojev učinkovin in metabolitov v posameznih organih. Ker pa so bolj zapleteni od klasičnih prostorskih in zahtevajo veliko študij in vivo, so jih razvili le za manjše število učinkovin. | |
