Abstract		Allergic diseases have been increasing during the last 25 years. Environmental factors are mostly responsible for that increase. With avoidance of most frequent allergens, regular breast feeding and avoidance of factors that facilitate sensitisation the incidence af allergic diseases may be lowered.
Summary		Alergijske bolezni v zadnjih 25 letih stalno naraščajo. Pri naraščanju alergij imajo vodilno vlogo predvsem dejavniki okolja. Z izogibanjem najpogostejšim alergenov v prvih 4 mesecih življenja, rednim dojenjem in omejevanjem dejavnikov, ki pospešujejo senzibilizacijo, lahko zmanjšamo pojavnost alergij.
