Abstract		The neonatal cholestatic syndrome is a disease with a diverse aetiology. The paper deals with the causes and clinical manifestations of cholestasis, the diagnostic procedure for children with conjugated hyperbilirubinaemia and the therapeutic possibilities. We describe a four-months-old girl with extrahepatic biliary obstruction, in whom Kasai portoenterostomy could not be performed because she was already too old. The girl has been presented at a transplantation centre. Transplatation of liver was made because of decompesated liver cirrhosis.
Summary		Neonatalni holestatski sindrom je bolezen različne etiologije. V prispevku opisujemo vzroke in klinično sliko pri holestazi, diagnostični postopek pri direktni hiperbilirubinemiji otroka in možnosti zdravljenja. Predstavljamo 4-mesečno deklico z zunajjetrno zaporo žolčevodov, pri kateri Kasaijeve portoenteroanastomoze zaradi dekličine prevelike starosti ni bilo več možno izvesti. Deklico smo predstavili transplatacijskemu centru v tujini zaradi dekompenzirane jetrne ciroze je bila pri deklici narejena transplantacija jetr z delnim presadkom.
