Abstrakt | The pollen measurement has been performed on two locations in Slovenia: in the central part of the state in Ljubljana and at the north Adriatic coast in Koper. First twelve days in April the pollen counts were low since the weather conditions were unfavourable, the rest of the month the concentration of pollen was rather high, except on days with precipitation (Figure 3.1.). Birch and grass pollen are the most important pollen types from the allergological point of view in Slovenia. The grass pollen was in the air in Koper and Ljubljana (Figure 3.3.), the counts were low. The birch pollen was detected only in Ljubljana (Figure 3.2.) since birch doesnt grow on the coast. Beside the grass and birch pollen a lot of different pollen types were present in the air: maple (Figure 3.4), willow (Figure 3.5.), ash (Figure 3.6.), horn beam (Figure3.7.), Parietaria (Figure3.8.), oak (Figure 3.9.), pine (Figure 3.10.) and plane tree (Figure 3.11.). The beginning of the pollen occurrence differs from year, depending on the previous weather conditions. Table 3.1. shows the start data of pollen season for grass, horn beam, oak and birch pollen in Ljubljana in the last five years. | |
