Abstract     The General emergency service - prehospital unit in Ljubljana covers a wide area of many places difficult to reach. The following article describes the rescue of an injured climber with a cranial injury. Accurate information delivery, detailed description of the problem, prompt access time, adequate equipment and highly trained teams, together with the correct method of transport from the place of injury, are the key-issues in providing quality medical attention for the patient.
