Abstrakt		Poisoning as a result of suicide attempt is often seen at Emergency department. In the following article statistic data for 6 months are presented. The approach and treatment of the patient depend on his condition (physical, mental). Therapeutic interventionis are directed toward maintaining adequate ventilation and circulation, expediting the elimination of the toxic substabce, administration of antidots. Assessing suicidal risk following deliberate self harm is very important. That is the reason why all patients are sent to contact psychiatrist.
