Abstract		The author explains the importance of team approach for a successful management of various activities of life and work. She defines the essence of team and emphasizes some reasons for keeping to individual decision making and management, which strongly affects the making of a team. She presents crucial personality features of a successful team leader who recognizes the working climate through feedback. Evaluation of working teams is possible by way of a questionnaire describing the performance rate of a team to its manager or gives information on the steps and barriers for an effective development of a team.
