Abstract     Treatment of acute post-operative pain improves the patient's quality of life and reduces the number of post-operative complications. The prospective, non-comparative study included 30 female patients aged 54 years on average, who underwent breast cancer surgery. Immediately after the conclusion of the surgical procedure, all patients received a combination of two analgesics: Tadol (tramadol) administered by infusion and Naklofen (diclofenac) administered by intramuscular injections. On the second day, the treatment was continued with oral administration of the same medicines. Up to the end of the treatment, patients received doses of the medicines and the dosage was individually adjusted. Five patients receiving analgesic therapy reported adverse events, mostly nausea. After the conclusion of the treatment, 50% of the patiients assessed the combination of both medicines as excellent, while the other 50% of the patients assessed it as good.
