Abstract     Violence perpetrated upon vulnerable social groups is a special case since it affects all the members of such groups. Nurses and health technicians are particularly liable to violence because of the special nature of the relationships which are formed through their work. Many different types of violence, as well as the importance of dealing with them are stressed in the article. The article tries to illuminate the lact that violence either takes place in relationships between the sexes or when one of the parties is physically stronger
