Abstrakt | The pollen measurement has been performed on two locations in Slovenia: in the central part of the state tn Ljubljana and at the north Adriatic coast in Koper. In September the pollen season fade out. The pollen of ragweed (Figure 3.2), nettle family (Figure 3.3), grass (Figure 3.4), goosefoot and mugwort was present in the air in small quantities. Only ambrosia pollen could cause the health problems. On some days the concentration 20 pollen grains/m3 was exceeded. This is the threshold for the sensitisation to ragweed pollen. On figure 3.1. average daily concentration of pollen in Koper and Ljubljana is presented. The samples for September 7, 8, 9 in Ljubljana are missing. We will start to issue the information about the presence of pollen again in the air next year; probably in February, but depending on weather conditions the first species of pollen could appear already towards the end of January. | |
