Abstrakt | The pollinosis provoking pollen of mugwort (Artemisia), grass (Poaceae), nettle/pelitory (Urticaceae) and plantain (Plantago) was registered in August in the air. Pelitory pollen was counted only in Koper. The major part of all airborne pollen came from Urticaceae family. Wall pelitory is well known pollinosis provoking plant in some regions of the Mediterranean area. The pollen from nettle family was all month round in the air, the highest counts were in the middle of the month (Figure 6.7.). Pollen of two wind pollinated weeds, regweed and mugwort was present in August in the air on both locations. The ragweed pollen has been from the beginning of the month in the air in Koper and from the end of the first decade in Ljubljana (Figure 6.6). The gighest concentration was registered in third decade on both locations. The mugwort pollen was present all months round in the air in Ljubljana; in Koper from August 8. The mugwort pollen season peaked at the beginning of second decade in Ljubljana. The concentration in Koper was distinctly lower, the peak counts were on August 15. (Figure 6.3.). The counts of plantain, goosefoot (Chenopodiceae) and grass pollen were very low (Figures 6.5, 6.6. and 6.4.). | |
