Abstrakt		The pollen measurement has been performed on two locations in Slovenia: in the central part of the state in Ljubljana and at the North Mediterranean coast in Koper. The beginning of occurrence of alder and hazel pollen in Ljubljana are presented in table 6.1. for the past 5 seasons. Start of the season is mostly temperature dependent and differs from year to year. The first pollen grains of alder, hazel and pollen from cypress family started to appear in the air as early as at the beginning of December. The early start in December was not followed by increase of the pollen concentration in January. Pollen counts remained low, only on the 26th and 27th of January the concentration of cypress pollen at the seaside was higher.
