Abstract		Our life is connected with alcohol and also with its negative-results. In spite of its great tolerance for drinking, the society places a great responsibility on physicians and they are obliged to accept it. The paper presents some problems and facts concerning our daily treatment of patients. Stress is placed on preventive measures.
