Abstract     To study electroporation of cell clusters as models of tumors, we studied how the transmembrane potential on cells inside the cluster is dependent on the cell position inside the cluster. Namely, in biological tissues cells are always surrounded by other cells, which modify external electric field. We used numerical analysis performed by commercial finite element modelling software. We established that there is no radial dependence of induced transmembrane potential of the cells inside the cluster. We also demonstrated that transmembrane potential of the cells inside the cluster does not depend on the size of the cluster. However, we noticed small differences on the border of a cluster. These differences are due to the fact that clusters deviate from spherical shape, which alters electric field on the border of a cluster.
