Abstrakt     The needs of an organization to engage trainees in the works process are various and numerous. The shaping of own staff certain advantages over the employment of staff from outside the organization. The trainee enters the organization unburdended by its past and behaviour patterns but not yet ready for independent work and has to be included in the process of theoretical and practical education and training. In the phase of the training process, possibilities for the development have to be clearly pointed out, motivations should be constant, as well as recognition of everyday achievements and progress in training. The treainee should be thoroughly acquainted with the work process and tasks as well as our expectations as to the quality of performed tasks. During the training process, the trainee should have a well qualified supervisior and mentor who perform guidance, give directions, estimate work and achievements, evaluate his work, successes, motivation for work etc. The article presents organizational and conceptual changes in the process of training process at the Institute of Oncology in Ljubljana, Nursing Care Unit. Investigation of trainees opinion on the course of the training process for the period from 1998 to 2000 is presented.
Izvleček     Potrebe organizacije po zaposlovanju pripravnikov so različne in številne. Oblikovanje lastnih kadrov ima nekatere prednosti pred prihodom zunanjih kadrov v organizacijo. Pripravnik pride v organizacijo neobremenjen z njeno zgodovino in vzorci vedenja, je pa neusposobljen za samostojno delo in ga je potrebno vključiti v proces teoretičnega in praktičnega izobraževanja ter usposobljanja. Že v fazi pripravništva je potrebno pripravniku pokazati možnosti za njegov razvoj, spodbude in dajati priznanja za dnevne dosežke in napredovanja v usposabljanju. Pripravnik mora temeljito spoznati svoje delovno področje in naloge, ki jih ima, in naša pričakovanja v zvezi s kakovostjo opravljenih nalog. Da proces pripravništva teče, mora pripravnik imeti nadzornega in neposrednega mentorja, ki ga vodita in usmerjata, presojata delo, uspehe, ocenjujeta njegove sposobnosti, motivacijo za del, int. V prispevku smo prikazali organizacijske in vsebinske spremembe v procesu pripravništva na Onkološkem inštitutu Ljubljana, Služba za zdravstveno nego. Pomemben poudarek smo dali na raziskavo mnenja pripravnikov o poteku pripravništva za obdobje 1998 do 2000.
