Abstract		The guidelines, in the form of an algorithm, will help us in management of the airway. Orotracheal intubation remains the "gold standard" of airway control. If intubation is difficult or impossible the priority is to maintain oxygenation with an alternative approach to airway. The technique used depends on the urgency, and above all, on the experience of the operator.
