Abstract		Synchronized cardioversion is used in a prehospital care only when a pacient is unstable because of an arrhythmia. The delivery of the shock should be timed to occur with the downstroke of the R wave on the EKG. We succesefully used synchronized cardiover*ion in the field in the case of a pacient with ventricular arrhythmia.
