Abstract     Present article is a case report of badly injured 21- years old women, who suffered an open neck wound in an assault. Emergency care and assessment of the patient was difficult because of profuse arterial bleeding. Rescuing was ongoing in a small and narrow place, which made assessment and care for patient even more difficult. When we arrived to the patient, emergency doctor found out, that major artery of the neck was injured and that the patient had also major open wound on left side of her face and minor wounds on her arms. Patient was unconscious, her breathing was inefficient. After initial assessment and providing emergency care we took her to the hospital, where she was operated and iater discharged in home care.
