Abstrakt | Bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs is in general very low, therefore we are seeking new possibilities for its augmentation. Traditional technologies are usually limited in attempts to sufficiently solubilize such substances. Nanosuspensions offer a new possibility of formulation poorly soluble drugs. Formulation of nanosuspension represents an advanced approach. Nanosuspensions are suspensions of nanosized drug particles in water media. They can be produced by precipitation or more often by high pressure homogenization or milling of micronized drug. The article describes advantages of nanosuspensions, preparation procedures, evaluation and use possibilities in pharmacy. | |
Izvleček | Biološka uporabnost težko topnih zdravilnih učinkovin je običajno zelo majhna, zato iščemo vedno nove možnosti za njeno povečanje. S tradicionalnimi tehnološkimi pristopi pogosto ne moremo v zadostni meri povečati topnosii: Sotlobno možnost predstavlja oblikovanje nanosuspenzij. Nanosuspenzije so suspenzije delcev učinkovine nanometrskih velikosti v vodnem mediju. Izdelamo jih lahko s precipitacijo, pogosteje pa s homogeniziranjem pod visokim tlakom ali z mletjem mikronizirane učinkovine. V prispevku so predstavljene prednosti nanosuspenzij, postopki izdelave, vrednotenje in možnosti uporabe v farmaciji. | |
