Abstrakt		42 samples of grapevine plants and grafts were taken in Podravski and Posavski vine growing districts and tested for the presence of Agrobacterium sp. 31 samples had suspicious symptoms, the other 11 were without them. The samples were analysed by isolation of causative agents on 4 selective media, detection of T-DNA carrying oncogenes tmr, acs and vis by PCR, opine detection in tumor tissue, pathogenicity testing on tomato and Kalanchoe daigremontiana plants and by determination of 14 morphological, physiological and biochemical properties. 22 samples with symptoms were proved to be infected by means of molecular method and 20 by detection of opines. Agrobacterium tumefaciens bv. 3 was proved also in 3 samples without symptoms. 21 isolates induced tumors on tested plants. Morphological, physiological and biochemical tests confirmed that the isolated bacteria were Agrobacferium tumefaciens bv. 3.
