Abstract     In only half of the cases, patients with AMI are presented with classic retrosternal pain to the primary health practitioner, while half of the cases are presented with atypical localization of the pain, shortness of breath, signs of heart failure, cerebral hypoperfusion or even psychogenic dysfunction. Primary health practitioner should be aware of all these atypical presentations. That arouses the need for additional diagnostic possibilities as EKG and rapid testing for cardiac enrymes. Equipment for early defibrillation and advanced cardiac life support should be available.
