Abstract     Job satisfaction depends on possibility to satisfy personal needs. This article examines the results of the study about nursing job satisfaction which is a part of the widerstudy about nurses in Slovenia. Generally nurses are satisfied with their job situation. Most important factors for nurses at work are good relationships with co-workers, job security, helping other people, realizing their abilities, autonomy and membership of work group.
