Abstract		Based on the research study about nurses in Slovenia some free time activities are presented, regarding the social contacts with relatives and friends. The article discusses different theories of leisure. The most important factor, influencing women's spending of free time is their socialisation. A lot of family obligations and care for children restrict women in their leisure time.
