Abstract		In our everyday practice at the Intensive therapy unit at the Department of cardiology, University Medical Centre Ljubljana, we often treat patients who underwent percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). In order to achieve efficiency and the best of health care quality, a standard of health care after invasive cardiac procedure has been formed. It comprises follow-up of patient's condition and acitivities at the unit. All observations, complications and possible changes are carefully recorded in patient's documentation after the procedure and in nurse's report.
