Abstract     24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) is a selecting method for accurate determination of values and motion of blood pressure (BP) during the average working day and also values and motion of BP during the sleep. ABPM is an objective and well-tested research. This is the reason why it requires formulating special normatives for age, sex, race, physique, various physiological conditions (pregnancy) and special normatives for children with different body height, as it corelates with different BP level. Normal values of ABPM for preschool children are not measured yet, so we decided to define them. We defined daily, night and 24-hour normal average BP values and the limits of BP motion in 24 hours, within the values of chosen percentils (e.g. between Sth and 95th percentil). Girls of 100 cm height have average all-day BP 103/61, average daily BP 107/65, average night BP 100/59. Girls of 120 cm height have average all-day BP 109/66, average daily BP 113/73, average night BP 102/60. Girls of 130 cm height have average all-day BP 111/68, average daily BP 117/75, average night BP 103/60. Boys of 100 cm height have average all-day BP 104/63, average daily BP 107/68, average night BP 101/57. Boys of 110 cm height have average all-day BP 106/63, average daily Bp 112/70, average night BP 99/59. Boys of I20 cm height have average all-day BP 110/65, average daily BP 114/71, average night BP 104/66. Boys of 130 cm height have average all-day BP 107/67, average daily BP 113/71, average night BP 101/54. We chose the results of 130 children within this research. In 24 hours 100 children in our studies had an adequate number of successful measures (more than 40 according to the protocol of international research , "Kindergarten normwertstudie") what is 77%.
