Abstrakt		Spinal cord injury can appear in very young or middle aged patients who grow older with gradual adaptation to the injury, or it can develop in elderly patients. The latter face more problems, inlcuding slow healing of skeleton and bedsores, urinary incontinence, bad physical condition, additional chronic diseases and injuries of the locomotor system.
