Abstract | Same new directions towards dyslexia lean on historical perspective, concerning nowel facts and knowfedge into broader conceptual system. Although there is a large body of dyslexia definitions (some are frequently used and firmly accepted), the essence of this phenomenon is hard to describe using small number of facts put together into unique definition. The aim of this paper is to show our own "model of individual approach to dyslexia" elaborated to extract the information relevant for understanding dyslexia and thereby make the diagnostics and treatment less difficult. It is designed as network with possibilities to select. The model conciderš the whole individual and reading as dynamic processes influenced by continuous changes with a lot of factors and subjects. The begining point of selection are the antagonism and continuum in the field of definition, age, symptoms, subtypes and additional difficulties. The choosing constelation for each individual and each society determines life perspective for a person with dyslexia. | |
